General Localization and Copy Editing
We take your directly translated script, and edit it for flow and clarity in English. If you have a time constraint, we can advise on how to best meet informational needs without exceeding your time limit.
Localization for ADR
A verbatim translation is usually not the best fit for synchronizing to lip movements. A lengthy direct translation impacts syllable counts, speech cadences, and timing. Moreover, references and idioms don’t always carry the same meaning across cultures.
That’s where localization comes in! We take your translated script and prepare it for English ADR recording. The script is written in a way to both convey the original meaning across languages, and match lip movements in English. Our scripts identify each dialog element and effort, including timestamps so that we can easily integrate into our Asynchronous ADR workflow.
